This stool is pretty good and sturdy for a heavy person. There are 4 round magnets on the sides that hold the screws, screwdriver, scissors, etc.. that is a useful feature. the shelf does not hold much more, but is configured to allow you to rest your legs against it. I felt quite safe to use it. requires some space to preserve it!
